At Generation Mental Health, we are accessible and inclusive; people-centered; and future-focused. We recognize the pernicious presence of racism, classism, sexism and neocolonialism in the global mental health field, past and present. We are committed to delivering a conference where no one should experience harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or lack thereof.
All attendees, speakers, moderators, and staff members at our conference are required to abide by the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code of conduct throughout the event in order to ensure a safe and productive environment for everyone.
We do not tolerate the following behaviors:
1. Harassment of conference participants in any form.
2. Use of inappropriate sexual language or imagery or unwelcome sexual attention in any of the conference sessions.
3. Sustained disruption of sessions.
If a conference participant engages in behavior that we perceive as violating our values, the conference organizing committee may take any action they deem appropriate, including issuing a warning and or expelling the offender from the conference without a refund.
With any questions or concerns, please contact the Chair of the GenMH conference organizing committee, Francesca De Geronimo, at conference@generationmentalhealth.org.
GenMH is building a generation of mental health advocates, researchers and innovators that represent the communities they serve.
