What is the Advocacy Toolkit?

We are thrilled to announce that GenMH Chief Executive Officer, Jackee, and Chief Research and Knowledge Officer, Hannah, have been awarded the UC Berkeley Social Impact Innovation Grant to implement a new program at GenMH!

We have been working with a talented project team to develop a virtual course to support mental health advocates to make critical policy change. We are grateful to partner with Orygen Global to make resources from their Global Youth Mental Health Advocacy Fellowship available through our course.

While we expect that our course will result in immediate gains in self-efficacy, knowledge, and skills, the real hope is that the advocacy course empowers young people to make meaningful changes in their community through activism.

Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on the program! We plan to launch the online course in Summer 2024 - Winter 2025.
