The Possibilities Collective

Generation Mental Health Association (GenMH) is recruiting! We have new paid roles open to support our new Wellcome commissioned program - the Possibilities Collective. The Possibilities Collective is an innovative mental health research community and upskilling initiative designed by and for young people with lived experience of mental health challenges (YPWLE) around the world.

Role Overview

The Program Manager will lead the programmatic development of the Possibilities Collective. They would participate in management of the Collective Network and coordinate the development of the platform. This position will allow the postholder to develop and build international collaborations, work with a diverse team and gain hands-on experience in youth-advocacy and mental health research.

Role Overview

The Regional Manager will provide regional oversight and coordination, supporting regional team members to deliver on program goals, ensuring alignment within the regions, and serving as a key link between external partners, the GenMH team and the Collective’s internal team.

This individual will also lead the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with organizations, institutions and networks that align with the Collective’s mission. They will map key stakeholders, initiate collaborations, and support outreach strategies that expand the Collective’s visibility and influence.

Role Overview

The Community Engagement Lead will lead internal community-building for the Collective for members from their region, ensuring that young people with lived experience (YPWLE) and grassroots organizations feel welcomed, supported and connected. They will design participatory and inclusive onboarding processes, nurture peer-to-peer connections and co-create engagement opportunities that reflect the diverse, intersectional identities of members. This role will focus on sustaining a vibrant, accessible and supportive internal ecosystem that amplifies member voices and strengthens solidarity within the region and across the Collective. They will provide continued support in overall MLE work as needed.

Role Overview

The Learning Lead will oversee the design, management and continuous improvement of the Collective’s self-guided learning platform and resources. In collaboration with the global program team, they will ensure that materials are culturally relevant, accessible and tailored to the needs of young people with lived experience (YPWLE) across diverse contexts within the priority regions. This role will also provide ongoing support to YPWLE enrolled in the self-learning programs, helping them navigate the platform, access resources and apply learning to their own contexts.

Role Overview

The Professional Development Programs Lead will strengthen regional capacity by designing and supporting internship, mentorship, and grant programs for young people with lived experience (YPWLE) and lived experience–led organizations. They will create and sustain regional mentorship and internship networks, support small grant processes, and ensure alignment with the Collective’s program goals. The Manager will work closely with other regional team members to deliver these programs, ensuring all efforts are coordinated, trauma-informed, youth-friendly, and participatory.
